Life groups are key here at The Foundry, if you want to really get to know people and become part of a great community

The Foundry is a busy place – especially on Sundays! Lots of people, young and old, lots of activity. There’s a real buzz. You will never manage to get to know everyone. That’s where LIFEgroups come in.

By connecting to a LIFEgroup you will not only make some friends, but you will be part of a small group helping each other to become the people God wants them to be.

What happens in the life of a LIFEgroup?

LIFE groups connect each week primarily in the homes of members of The Foundry. This provides a relaxed environment where groups share life together.

These times are informal, interactive, and inspiring!

How big is a LIFEgroup?

The New Testament teaches the wisdom of small groups. To reflect this, LIFEgroups are limited to 12 people.

Who leads the life of a LIFEgroup?

LIFEgroups are led by members of the Foundry community who are committed to its vision and values. The LIFEgroup gatherings are hosted by members of the group who are happy to open their homes to others.

Which LIFEgroup has the best life for me?

There are no set guidelines as to which group you should join. Our guiding principle is that you should connect to no more than one group, one which is close enough for travel and includes people you feel comfortable in sharing life with. In fact you may initially want to try a few to find your best fit!

In addition, there are a few groups which are tailored more specifically for the needs of certain ages and interests. For more information, visit the Information Desk in the Foundry concourse after Sunday service or call the office at the Foundry Village.

Now what?

Just connect!

Young at Heart LIFEgroup – Tuesdays 1.30pm

Young at Heart is a ministry within Church at the Foundry which incorporates all
the elderly, both those who live on site at Fairhavens Court and the members of the church who live off the site. The heart and vision is that the group should be recognised as a vibrant and vital part of the church community – while recognising the equal importance of all other groups within the church.

Older people still have much to offer, for example in the areas of prayer and financial support for missionaries, as well as assisting and supporting as much as they are able in main church activities. We welcome people from The Foundry and other local churches.
