Church @ The Foundry is led by Senior Leaders Brian & Anne Hewitt, & a Leadership Team of Lukas Dewhirst and Dave Akerman.

Brian and Anne Hewitt

Title:

Senior Leaders

Brian & Anne have been leading the Foundry since 1996 having led various UK churches together for the last 35 years. They are passionate, prophetic, visionary leaders & believe in excellence within the local church. Brian & Anne have 5 children, 9 grand-children (at the last count!) & a tortoise! Brian enjoys fishing & ‘tweeting’, whilst Anne enjoys her garden & good coffee.

Dave Akerman

Title:

Associate Leader

Dave joined the Leadership Team in 2006, after graduating from Mattersey Hall. He is a gifted communicator & qualified counsellor, currently studying for an MA at Oxford! Dave can often be seen frequenting local coffee shops to connect with parishioners & sample the local delicacies. His other passions in life are fast cars, fat books & strong coffee.

Lukas Dewhirst

Associate Leader

Lukas has been on the Foundry Leadership Team since 1997, & has pioneered & birthed various ministries across the Church. He is a passionate, visionary strategic leader, very much a modern day Nehemiah! Lukas has been married to Sarah for 12 years, and has 4 daughters. He supports Chelsea, enjoys a good curry...& a bargain!
