Opportunities to bless, encourage and support places from around the world who need our help

Castellion, Spain

Since 2003, the country of Spain has been the main recipient of the church’s mission programme. In addition to a large financial investment, teams have travelled regularly to Castellion and its surrounding towns to encourage local Christians in their church planting programme. Each year street missions, headed by the XL team, have been held, while prayer teams prepared the way. Church @ the Foundry also sponsors interns from Spanish churches, enabling them to spend a year at the Foundry.

The spiritual needs of Spain remain a high priority for us. Although a member of the E.U., with deep religious roots, there is enormous spiritual darkness in the nation. The convenience of low cost air transport between Liverpool and Spain is enabling us to make genuine inroads into that darkness.

Mozambique

This needy African country has become the focus of much of the Foundry’s missions giving in 2008. Vision Mozambique is a Christian charity founded by Cheshire born Peter Houston. In addition to providing help for orphanages, and feeding programmes for children, Vision Mozambique seeks to present the Christian message in a way that is culturally appropriate.

The Charity is currently planting new churches in some of the rural parts of
Mozambique, using wood structures with dried reed walls. In this way, a new
church building can be erected and a leader supported for about £2000.

Church @ the Foundry has already given significant gifts towards this ministry. It is expected that a church plant, financed entirely by ourselves, will take place in 2008-2009.
