The Foundry provide a wide range of services to the local community.
Christians Against Poverty
We are a national CAP centre offering support to those in debt. For further information, or to book an appointment with a trained debt counsellor, please contact the office.
The Foundry shop
Our very own Foundry Shop is located in the Albert Square shopping precinct in Widnes town centre, offering high quality used clothes, books, DVDs, furniture & household goods. The Foundry Shop is about ‘people not profit’ & we seek to connect with people to offer support, help & advice in whatever way we can.
Out of the Foundry Shop, we offer debt, legal & pregnancy advice.
Legal advice
Working closely with Fiona Bruce & Co. Solicitors in Warrington, the Foundry Shop offers free legal advice. To make an appointment, please contact our office.
Pause Pregnancy Crisis
Pause is our pregnancy crisis advice centre where we offer free and impartial advice on all matters relating to unwanted or unplanned pregnancy. This service is offered in full confidentiality and by trained counsellors. Please visit the Pause website for further information

Fair Havens Court
Fair Haven’s Court is our housing charity for those in retirement. We have 45 one and two bedroom bungalows on-site, with a full time warden offering support services. For further information, please contact the office.
Lighthouse Foundation
The Lighthouse Foundation is our on-site Supported Housing Charity offering a ‘brighter future for hurting lives’.
Foundry Life
Lifegroup
LIFEgroups are at the heart of our Church family. There are our small groups that meet across the region in homes to discuss the Bible, pray, share fellowship and Life! To connect with a group, please contact Dave Akerman via the Church office.
The Alpha Course
We run an Alpha Course, which is for those interested in exploring the Christian message & those who have recently decided to follow Christ. For the next Alpha course dates, please contact our office.
Seniors
Preaching, singing, quizzes, coffee & cake.
Music
The Foundry Band are our resident Band, who lead in the main Sunday Services. They practise weekly. Auditions for the Foundry Band are advertised via the Church Newsletter as and when vacancies arise.
The Gathering
The Gathering is a growing network of 18-30s who meet together several times a year to enjoy good food, pub quizzes & social events. See the Calendar for the next Gathering event, or contact our office for further information.
Youth and Children

Creche
A fully supervised crèche during the Sunday preaching. Register your children before 10:30am on the morning you arrive to take advantage of this excellent provision for your children.
Foundry Tots
Games, Bible stories, cake, great coffee & conversation. No need to register, just drop in!
Funhouse
Church for the kids! All of our children & workers join with the Church for worship, & then break out into their groups during the preaching. Craft, Bible stories, worship, DVDs & more. Register your children before 10:30am on the morning you arrive to take advantage of this excellent provision for your children.
Foundry Kids
Games, Bible stories, trips out, worship, preaching...Friday night Church for kids!
Feeder
The finest Youth Club in town! American Pool, 5 a side, Giant Wii, Tuck Shop, Internet Cafe.
Xplore
Xplore provides one to one care for children who need a little bit of extra support, enabling parents to fully engage in the Foundry experience. In Xplore we play together, we pray together and we Xplore God together. Register your child prior to the Sunday service, or see Gill & Dave Packwood for further information via the office.
oneYouth Extreme
